Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Will My Wax Last?

Ideally your body hair grows on a 4-6week cycle. If you have been shaving it may take a few waxes to sync up the different cycles. Expect your first wax to last anywhere from 7-14 days. Unfortunately there are no guarantees as everyone's hair grows at different rates!

How Often Should I Get Waxed?

Wildflower Beauty recommends getting waxed anywhere from 4-8weeks. Depending on the event you are preparing for or the desired results you can choose your maintenance schedule to fit your lifestyle. Getting on a regular 4-6week schedule should ease some of the discomfort associated with pain.

Do You Travel For Bridal Parties?

If you need bridal makeup done on location for your big day there is a travel fee. Wildflower Beauty has traveled as far as Minnesota down to Lake Delevan and everywhere between Madison and Milwaukee!

Will You Wax My Husband/Boyfriend/Co-Worker?

Don't worry men can get their grooming services done at Wildflower Beauty too! Check out the Gentlemen Grooming Services for more info and remember we are located right behind Tyranena Brewery in case you feel like you need a beer after your service.

Can I Wax If I'm Pregnant?

It can be tough to see what's going on down there while you are pregnant, feel free to come in as close to your due date as you feel comfortable. Brittany has a lot of experience waxing pregnant women. Always check with your doctor if you have any concerns!

Ew, Ingrown Hairs!?

Sometimes when you start to wax, thin hairs can become trapped under the skin as they grow back. You can treat these the same way you would treat a pimple or acne breakout. If exfoliating alone isn't cutting it check out Wildflower Beauty's top pick for post waxing/shaving products by Whish.

Do You Wax Male Brazilians?

Unfortunately I do not have the necessary training for this service. I can try to refer you to another waxing specialist who will do a great job.

Will My Sunless Tan Protect Me From The Sun?

A sunless tan will not protect you from sun damage. Please wear sunscreen after your service.

How Bad Does A Brazilian Hurt?

Just like hair grows at different rates for different people. Pain feels different for everyone. The best way to describe it is similar to a rubber band snap. Quick, but the results will be worth it!
